Yo who gives a fuck if the chorus is devoid of melody. This song is rocking, grooving, bobbing, and weaving through all the haters who will bitch about it being"lookie" rather than "rookie."

But honestly... imagine how it would sound if they pronounced the hard "r" consonant every four seconds... that would be dumb dumb. "Lookie" sounds cute and fits the sound well.

Honesly, I love the song. Yeah, the blues melody in the verses doesn't sound too pleasing to the ear, but man that bridge is the total opposite. That is Red Velvet giving you the butter to butter their muffins because they look great.

Well most of them, anyway.

My baes Seulgi and Irene are looking great here, almost ethereal. 

The chorus is a hook chorus. It reminds me of Wonder Girls' "Tell Me" in a way, with the repetition of the title and catchiness of the chorus. Good stuff, SM. You can tell this was an experiment of sorts. I think it worked and is way more exciting than "Russian Roulette."

Now to wait for another Velvet concept...
